My friend, Emily Tracy, had a Pampered Chef party on Monday night and it was SO much fun! I have been to many different parties and even hosted them at my house but this one was by far one of my favorites. I mean who doesn't love eating! :) I always thought that their products were pricey but they really aren't too bad. I decided to purchase a Mix 'N Chop, which is a cooking utensil used to chop up foods in your cookware. My cookware is Rachael Ray and you aren't supposed to use metal utensils while cooking, so I thought this would be a great purchase! I can't wait to use it! Oh and at the party the consultant made an amazing appetizer using red peppers, jalapenos, bacon, cream cheese, and pizza dough! I can't wait to try these at home either!
PS Sorry I haven't been blogging much. My husband has the flu and I've been nursing him back to health. :) (with homemade chicken and noodles) YUM!

Lovely Weekend.
I tried to keep myself busy this week because Matt was in Oregon. Here is the end of my week:
Wednesday-Went to my sister-in-law and brother-in-laws house for dinner. We played a game of Bananagrams.
Rachel obviously didn't want her picture taken even though she looked awesome!
Thursday- I went rummaging through my parents and grandparents attic. I found a hat for Matt and a couple of old pictures I am going to hang on my wall. I also ate dinner with my grandparents and then played the game Rummikub.
Friday- I went to the DAV and Connie's Antiques and found an awesome purse and finished Ashley Annes DIY table runner project.
Saturday- I got up early and went school shopping with my friend Megan. Then we went to the farmers market. I also spent the afternoon with my good friend Mckenzie and went swimming.
Sunday- Saturday night I decided to spend the night with the Ansley's and go to church with them. So today I woke up and went to church then ate lunch with Matt's parents, ate dinner with my family, and cleaned ALL night awaiting the return of my prince!
Monday- I know this isn't included in my weekend but at 7 am my wonderful husband finally arrived! This is a picture he took for the gear company that sponsors him.

the french pup
Today as I was browsing blogs I came across a girls named Darling Dexter and she had some pictures up of her puppy. She has a bichon frise, which is a french terrier. I grew up with one named Chardonay. We just recently had to put her to sleep because she was having some health issues and she was 16 years old in human years. My parents have been thinking about getting another dog and weren't sure what they were going to get. They finally decided to get another bichon from a rescue center (maybe named Chardonay II haha), which I personally think that is a PERFECT idea! Seriously how can you resist this face....?
This is Darling Dexters pup.

Attic Treasures
google picture
Today at work has been very boring. I said to myself at the beginning of summer I would never hate being bored again and I am glad to say I haven't. I think today I am going to leave early and go treasure hunting in my grandparents and parents attics. I always find very cool stuff up there that they never use.
Things I have found:
antique elephant figurines
old vinyl records
awesome 70's and 80's clothes
shoes from my granny (she was a hip lady)
vases
a silhouette cut-out of my aunt
I hope to find some doilies at my grandmas today so I can make the table runner in my previous post.
DIY Project: doily table runner
Ashley Ann has a neat diy project that I think I may try today. I will show you the finished project. My grandma has so many doilies and I am kind of tired of using place mats.

JHB
My sweet husband is in a worship band called The Jordan Howerton Band. I just got back from Windermere, MO where I got to see how amazing and sold out this band is for our Savior. Here are a few pics I took while I was helping video tape the last night (by video tapping I mean pushing on and off :).
Check out their website that a stud designed...aka my husband :)
